Unlearning What We Think

We Know

In this workshop, we delve into the intricate realm of unconscious bias—an inherent mechanism shaping our judgments and decisions based on prior experiences, deep-seated thought patterns, assumptions, and interpretations, often without our conscious awareness.

Our workshop endeavours to illuminate the innate predisposition we possess to gravitate towards individuals who mirror our surroundings, absorbing lessons from them. As we traverse through the stages of development, our attitudes take form under the influence of both implicit and explicit cultural values—embedded in everyday conversations and narratives.

While maintaining a light-hearted approach, this workshop carries weighty implications. We embark on a journey to uncover the unknown, unravel our perceived knowledge, and comprehend the origins of our beliefs. The process of learning about ourselves and acknowledging the unique reality each person holds can be both enjoyable and challenging. This workshop serves as a gateway to self-discovery, a pivotal starting point that ripples into every facet of our actions and our perception of the world.
